I believe every student is capable of learning. Every student has their own learning pace, strengths, and learning style, and it's up to me as the tutor to match that. I believe tutoring is powerful because of the one-on-one approach, so I take advantage of that by focusing on the needs and propensities of my students to personalize lessons so that learning can happen in the most effective way possible. I tutor on campus to help students become better readers and writers. I've also taught at the elementary school level. I enjoy working with students of any age, including homeschool students. When I have spare time, l like to garden, bowl, read, and cook.
