I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Ohio University which I earned in 2015. I also hold a Masters in Teaching Reading from the University of San Francisco which I earned in 2012. During my time at the University of San Francisco I maintained a 4.0 GPA.

Experience

Hello, I'm Tracy! I graduated from Ohio University with a degree in Psychology and completed my Master's degree at the University of San Francisco, specializing in Teaching Reading. In addition to tutoring, I currently teach 6-8 grade Language Arts. In the past, I have taught first and second grade so I have experience working with students of all ages. I'm certified in the state of Ohio in PreK-5 and am a Reading Specialist. I tailor my lessons to meet my students where they are at and am very flexible, able to change lesson plans as the need arises. My Reading Specialist credential spans K-12 so I am able to assist students at all levels of learning, from beginning readers to high school students working on college application essays. While my specialization is in the field of reading, I am capable of tutoring elementary school students in all subjects. While I have all the necessary education and credentials to teach, I believe it is the relationships I form with my students that make me stand out as a great teacher. Helping students become realize their true potential, especially in reading and writing is a true passion of mine. I look forward to working with you!
