Case Western Reserve University - BS, Computer Science

I am working toward a degree in Computer Science at Case Western Reserve University. I began tutoring in high school, in a peer tutoring and mentoring program. There, I learned that I enjoy helping other students academically, particularly in the areas of Science and Math. I most enjoy Physics, as it combines my two favorite subjects and has clear applications to the real world. I believe that practice is the key to mastering subject matter. Reading and studying notes will take a student only so far; to truly understand the material, he or she must actually apply those concepts. I work with students across a wide range of Math courses, from Elementary Math through Calculus. I also offer tutoring in Computer Science, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry, and can assist with preparation for the Math sections of the SAT and ACT. Outside academia, I operate a website design company and enjoy skiing (snow and water), boating, hiking, and computer programming.
