I have been involved with tutoring students for several years. I have volunteered as a tutor in after school, church, and have tutored in homes. I enjoy seeing students learn and provide individualized lessons at their level to improve their academic performance. I especially like to tutor in the area of reading and language arts with a balanced literacy approach. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education and a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Former teacher in elementary education of ten years. Effective in working with at risk students in reading and math.
