I am a tutor located in Cleveland, OH. Currently, I am a full time Reading teacher for students in 4th and 5th grades. I hold a bachelor's degree in Education from Bowling Green State University, and am working towards my master's degree in Education and Reading Specialization. I also earned my K-12 Reading Endorsement from Kent State University. I believe that my educational background and work history have given me great insight into what it takes to be a great teacher. I am proud of my ability to apply best practices, organization, and mutual respect to form positive relationships with my students. In addition to tutoring, I have worked as a substitute teacher and a volunteer reading teacher for youth at summer camp. I excel at tutoring a wide variety of subjects, but my passion is in Reading, Phonics, Grammar, English, test preparation, and Math. I am a well rounded tutor with a passion for helping students in all stages of learning. I believe that all students learn in different ways and at varying paces. I try to find the style that works best for each student. When I am not teaching, I enjoy playing sports, arts and crafts, reading, playing the piano, and being outside.
