Todd D.
Private tutor in Cleveland, OH
Education
My Masters degree was in Mechanical Engineering, designing and testing a high-force hip simulation system (for implant design) My Ph.D. (University of Pittsburgh Musculoskeletal Research Center) used a 6-Dof robotic system to measure motion and forces in the human spine. I am currently an Adjunct Professor in the School of Bioengineering at Drexel University, and have taught many courses.
Experience
I have taught many collage courses in Basic and Advanced Biomechanics, General Bioengineering, Computational Methods in Biomechanics, Matlab programming, Microscopy and related fields. I have successfully tutored and mentored many dozens of students. I am an expert in mechanical and product design primarily for robotic testing systems, imaging systems and bioengineering applications (prosthetics, implants, etc.). I am skilled in 3-D modeling, design and 3-D printing and am an expert in Blender3D, Meshlab, and many other 3-D software and CAD tools.

Hobbies
I have a number of ongoing projects: you can view my new Portfolio at http://tcdoe.com/Portfolio My latest 'hobby' is 3-D printing and related technology/software development. I've recently developed the first ever Finite Element mesh structures ('Meshagons'). The IMHO quite interesting story about that work is here: http://tcdoe.com/meshagons.html I am also an avid musician and recording engineer with a small (but good) mastering/recording studio.
