EducationDuke University - Bachelors, Biology
ExperienceI recently finished my studies at Duke University, where I majored in Biology and minored in Classical Studies. I am now looking into master's degree programs, so I can earn my master's in Marine Biology. Once I earn this degree, I plan to begin a career working with marine mammals, and to later become a college professor. I was a member of the Duke University Marching Band during college, so I have experience juggling college and extracurricular activities. I also spent some time in college performing research on Hawaiian monk seals. I can tutor a variety of subjects, including many science courses, psychology, geography, math classes ranging from basic math to algebra, and many others. I also enjoy helping students prepare for the ACT and other tests. Having been a student for almost the past 16 years, I have always remained a motivated student who is eager to learn. I strive to pass that motivation onto my students. I teach in an enthusiastic manner and experience great joy in passing the knowledge I learned during my studies onto my students. When not tutoring, I love reading and learning more about marine biology. I also enjoy playing the French horn and skiing.
