I've taught various college classes over the past 20 years. These include basic writing, literature, ESL, and research papers. I have experience with standardized test prep, including the ACT and SAT, and have covered various related subjects in writing centers for years. I also designed classes for the SAGES program at Case Western Reserve University, especially the "Spies" and "Lies and Deceit" courses.One of my strong areas is helping people to overcome their anxieties with writing. I am effective at helping with reading issues and have a number of strategies. Being in the Cleveland, Ohio area gives me the ability to help many students with their reading, writing, and some math difficulties.
