I'm Beth, and I graduated from Allegheny College with a bachelor's degree in history. I love to learn, and I love to teach. I want to be a professional teacher in the future. I've always enjoyed school, and I've been lucky enough to have instructors who loved the topics they taught. I believe a passion for the subject is key to effective teaching, and I want to share my love of the subjects I teach with my students in hopes that they will come to enjoy the subjects as well. I want students to enjoy the learning process and develop a desire to learn more on their own. I can tutor students in biology, history, reading, writing, literature, English grammar, religions, and test prep for the ACT, PSAT, and others. When I have free time, I like to write, read, and draw. I also enjoy volleyball and theater.
