I'm a tutor based in Tampa, Florida, where I enjoy playing sports, reading, volunteering, and traveling when I'm not working with students. I'm a graduate of the University of Miami, where I received my bachelor's degree in microbiology and immunology, and graduated with magna cum laude honors. I'm also a medical student. My experiences as a student have shown me the value that hard work and dedication can provide students. Although I ultimately wish to become a practicing medical doctor, I also really enjoy helping students get the most out of their education. I know that each and every student is different and I take that into account in my tutoring sessions. I provide customized, individualized lesson plans for each student that takes into account the needs and confidence levels of that student. This allows me to avoid a cookie-cutter style of teaching that isn't always successful. I want all of my students to feel motivated to reach for higher heights in their education. I do this by trying to instill a passion for learning in them. I specialize in tutoring most levels of math and science, but I can also help students with their writing.
