I've been a professional editor and writing coach since 2010, and a private writing tutor (working with students of all ages) since 2013. My approach is to identify strengths in my students as well as areas for improvement to help them reach their goals. I'm very supportive of my students yet will give them a "push" or a pep-talk when needed to help them succeed.

Hobbies

I've always been a writer and have been fortunate to make a living writing. In addition to writing, I enjoying jogging, reading, poetry and most sports. As a writer and editor, I've won several national awards... as I look back, because someone helped me develop my skills when I was younger. As a way to help others... I coach and tutor. Depending on the student, tutoring can sometimes be very difficult. But if a student shows any interest at all in getting better, then there's progress to be made! My personal goal is to help my students make meaningful progress.
